The House investigative committee has released a collection of around 70 photos secured from the holdings of former convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third such publication from a larger collection of over 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's property. It includes photographs of excerpts from the book Lolita scrawled across a female's body, and censored pictures of female overseas passports.

This action comes mere hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the Department of Justice to make public each files related to its probe into Epstein.

"These photos raise more questions about exactly what the DOJ has in its possession," remarked the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Released

Several of the photos published on Thursday show Epstein speaking with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates positioned beside a individual whose face is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a table opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the newest wealthy, powerful men to be pictured in Epstein's estate photos disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - previously released pictures also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Being pictured in the photographs is does not constitute evidence of any illegal activity, and a number of the photographed individuals have stated they were in no way participating in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a statement released with the image release, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate did not provide background information or timeframes for the pictures.

"Photos were selected to offer the general populace with clarity into a illustrative selection of the images obtained from the property, and to offer understanding into Epstein's network and his exceptionally troubling actions," the release states.

The release also features several photographs of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in black ink across several locations of a female's body, such as her torso, foot, hip, and spine. Lolita recounts the tale of a minor who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

An example of a passage from the book written across a female's chest reads, "Lolita's name: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to alight, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a series of photographs of female travel documents and official papers from states globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the papers, including names and DOBs, is redacted but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a announcement that the travel documents are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were interacting with".

An additional photograph features Epstein sitting at a table closely surrounded by three female figures whose identities have been obscured - a first has her palm on Epstein's torso under his clothing, and another individual is bending to examine a close-by laptop. Epstein seems to be aiding the final person fasten a bracelet.

Another image disclosed is a image of SMS messages from an unnamed person who claims they have been supplied "several females" and are demanding "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Photograph Publication Comes Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The committee has thousands of images in its holdings from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously explicit and everyday," its statement on this week clarified.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photographs and records the Epstein property gave to the body are separate from what is commonly referred to "the Epstein documents". That material are documents within the justice department's custody connected to its independent probe into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which the President made law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its documents. The extent of what's found in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's probable that a significant portion of the information will be significantly redacted, comparable to the committee's documents
